Harnessing Positive Masculinity to Strengthen Alliances and Build Movements to End FGM
An inspiring journey in Wamba West Ward, Samburu, where the integration of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices is transforming lives.

For years, open defecation has posed serious health and environmental challenges in the region due to cultural norms and lack of sanitation infrastructure. This has led to waterborne diseases, poor hygiene, and contamination of resources, especially during the rainy season.

Through community-led efforts, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable solutions, Samburu is taking bold steps to become ODF. From building affordable toilets using local materials the revolution is creating healthier, empowered communities. #dignifiedsanitation
